Carey New York to Provide One Water in All Vehicles
Proceeds Funding Water Pumps in Africa

today announced the launch of its United States partnership with Global
Ethics Ltd. of the United Kingdom to help fund a program to provide clean
water to remote villages in Africa. Starting immediately, Carey will offer
its clients One Water as the standard amenity in all of its Carey New York
vehicles.
All the proceeds from Carey's purchase of One Water go towards building
PlayPump(TM) water pumping systems in Africa. An imaginative way to
improve people's lives by providing free, clean water, the PlayPump(TM)
systems are innovative, sustainable, patented water pumps powered by
children at play. Installed near schools, the PlayPump(TM) system doubles
as a water pump and a merry-go-round for children.While children play,
clean water is pumped from deep underground into large storage tanks which
are connected to taps, providing safe water for schools and their
communities. Schools with PlayPumps(TM) also use the water to grow
vegetables and fruit, providing a better diet for students, generating
income from sales of produce and providing one of the only means currently
available to reach rural communities with potentially life saving public
health messages.To date One Water and the One Foundation have funded
hundreds of installations, providing water to hundreds of thousands of
people.
Carey has partnered with Global Ethics Ltd. for the past two years in the
U.K. distributing One Water in their vehicles there, co-promoting The One
Foundation at travel industry tradeshows and cross-promoting the concept
through the distribution of informational literature. Carey sponsored the
installation of a PlayPump(TM) in Sensako Primary School near the town of
Mafekeng, Northwest Province, South Africa (image attached).The One Water
