Function Drinks and TreeLink Partner to Launch National Reforestry Initiative -- PROJECT: URBAN DETOX
(CSRwire) REDONDO BEACH, CA--(Marketwire - May 15, 2008) - Function Drinks announced
today the launch of PROJECT: URBAN DETOX, an on-going collaborative
initiative in partnership with the national reforestry organization,
TreeLink, to promote healthy living through urban forest and tree
stewardship. Function Drinks will donate a portion of their proceeds from
participating retailers throughout the country to TreeLink and their local
organizations in an effort to increase the green canopies in urban
communities. PROJECT: URBAN DETOX is named after the flagship product in
the Function Drinks line, Function: Urban Detox, which was created by
physicians to detoxify and protect the body, specifically working to
cleanse the respiratory system of particulate air pollution. PROJECT:
URBAN DETOX aims to take that functionality to a whole new level,
cleansing urban communities of environmental toxins.
