Surface iQ(TM) Wallcoverings Now Certified to Meet CHPS Indoor Air Quality Requirements

(CSRwire) NORTH WALPOLE, NH. – January 31, 2008 - Len-Tex Corporation announced today that its entire line of Surface iQ(TM) non-vinyl wallcoverings has been certified to meet the criteria of the Collaborative for High Performance Schools (CHPS section 01350) in independent laboratory testing.

CHPS is an initiative for California schools that is the nation's first rating program to promote the design and construction of school buildings that excel in environmental efficiency and healthy building practices. Schools installing Surface iQ wallcoverings now can qualify for points under Indoor Environmental Quality Credit EQ2.2.

"We originally designed the Surface iQ line for use in the healthcare industry where indoor air quality is paramount" said Don Lennon, Len-Tex President. "We're very pleased that it can now also play a part in making schools healthier places for kids".

Surface iQ wallcoverings contain no PVC or heavy metals, are chlorine-free, and printed using water based inks. They also Exceed CCC-W-408-D requirements for type II wallcoverings.
